About the Walk/Run Family Event
What started out as a walk to support one, has transformed into a non-profit for one million! Our big event is the annual 5KforJK walk/run at Olentangy Liberty Middle School Track and Field. This family friendly event connects those living with Parkinson's, their loved ones and community partners. In just 3 years, the non-profit has raised over $350K, which were used to build and distribute over 700 Parkinson's "Wish Kits", support 3 Parkinson's gyms with trainers, and fund the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research with a $200K donation!
In 2024 All Proceeds Will:
Allow us to give 1,000+ Parkinson's "Wish Kits" to people with Parkinson's for FREE
Support/Expand Parkinson's gyms
Contribute $25K to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Research
