Why It Matters
What started as a walk for one incredible woman, Jessica Krauser, has grown into a movement for many. Over the years, 5KforJK has raised over $350,000 to fund programs that are truly changing lives:
-
Changing Parkinson's Wish Kits: Thoughtfully created by Parkinson's patients, for patients, these kits deliver comfort, connection, and hope.
-
pDNextSteps Gym: A dedicated space and thriving virtual community built around Parkinson's-focused fitness, because movement is medicine.
-
The Secret Life of Parkinson's Podcast: Amplifying the voices and stories of those living with Parkinson's, so no one feels alone in their journey.
â
Every dollar raised, every mile walked or run, moves us closer to a stronger, more hopeful future, for patients, caregivers, families, and communities touched by Parkinson's. Together, we're changing what it means to live with Parkinson's.
