My 5KforJK Fundraising Page

Debbie Walcott

Debbie Walcott

As many of you know, my daughter, Jessica, was diagnosed with Parkinson's 6 years ago. Since then, she started a nonprofit called Changing Parkinson's, helping other people living with Parkinson's feel seen, supported and empowered through The Secret Life of Parkinson's podcast, free Parkinson's kits, and PDNextSteps exercise program and local gym.

Their largest fundraiser, the 5KforJK, funds the educational materials and items for the PD kit, the expansion of the stories being told on the podcast, and developing the local exercise program into a worldwide training program.

We need your support! The 5KforJK 5th annual walk/run will be held again at Olentangy Liberty Middle School Track at Liberty Middle School in Powell, OH on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Please consider donating to my fundraising page and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance the 5KforJK's great cause! Additionally, if you are interested in participating in the walk/run, you can click here to register for the event.

Together, we can make a difference!
We appreciate everyone's love and support as we go through this journey with Jessica.
Thank you and God Bless,
Debbie & Bill Walcott

The 5KforJK is an annual fundraising campaign by Changing Parkinson's, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to equip and empower individuals to make a difference in their own lives and in the Parkinson’s community. Learn more at www.ChangingParkinsons.org.
